Thanks to all the wonderful Toastmasters we reached out to, both those who pondered and declined, and those who pondered and decided to step up to district leadership.
We are delighted to introduce your nominated candidates for elected executive positions including your new TRIO and DIVISION DIRECTORS. The newly elected team will officially begin their year on July 1st, 2026.
Everyone is invited to join us Saturday April 12th at 10:30 a.m. for an online “Candidates Showcase” to meet these dynamic Toastmasters:

- Division D (Vancouver region)
- Division F (Burnaby region)
- Club Growth Director #2 (Toastmasters International guidelines require 2 candidates for this position)
Any qualifying member of District 21 may apply to run for these vacant positions as a FLOOR CANDIDATE during the April 12th Elections.
All floor candidates must declare their intent to run, in writing, to our District Director at least seven (7) days prior to the April 12 District Council Meeting and elections.
If you are interested in applying, please review the qualifications for Club Growth Director and Division Director before submitting an Application form and Leadership Agreement.

Upon approval from our District Director, the floor candidate must attend the April 12th District Council Business Meeting and be prepared to deliver a 2:00 campaign speech.

Why are AREA DIRECTORS not on the list?
Introduced during last September’s District Council meeting, AREA DIRECTOR positions are elected through our Area Council Meetings, which are now taking place across the district.
If you are interested in developing your leadership skills next year, please contact your AD or district executive officer as soon as possible. If the AD is not available in your current area this year, there are many other vital committee and leadership roles waiting for you to try!
