Call for Nominations to District Leadership for 2026-2027

Step Into District Leadership
The District 21 Leadership Committee (DLC) is now seeking dedicated Toastmasters to form the executive team that will guide our district from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.
We are looking for:
- 9 Division Director candidates
- 2 Club Growth Director candidates
- 1 Program Quality Director candidate
- 1 District Director candidate
Each of these vital leadership roles contributes to the success of our members and clubs—and may also fulfill the one year of leadership service required for your Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) designation.
Please note: Area Directors will now be elected during Area Council meetings in Spring 2026, as approved by the District Council on September 20, 2025.
How to Apply or Nominate a Leader
To be nominated, elected, and hold office, candidates must:
- Be a member in good standing of a Toastmasters club that is in good standing in District 21.
- Meet the qualifications for the desired position. (See Form 450B – for full details, please review “Call for Nominations, District Leader Qualifications and Responsibilities”)
Required Forms :
- Form 450C – District Leader Nominating Form (self-nomination or by another member)
- Form 450E – Candidate Application
- Form 450D – District Leader Agreement and Release Statement
- Form 450H – Biographical Information
Please submit all signed forms to Virginia Keast, DTM, IPDD, DLC Chair
Once received, you’ll be contacted to discuss the roles, the election process, and next steps—including an interview with members of the District Leadership Committee.
Deadline for submissions: February 15, 2026
The DLC will review applications and nominate one qualifying candidate per position (two for Club Growth Director). These candidates will stand for election at the District 21 Spring Business Meeting on Sunday, April 12, 2026.
