District 96 Awarded Distinguished District at International Conference

At the International Conference in Philadelphia, PA, District 96 was proudly recognized as a Distinguished District. Representing us at the ceremony to receive this prestigious honor were Jim Heeren, District Director 24-25, Louisa Davis, Club Growth Director 24-25, Melody Helleouet, Division D Director 24-25, Harold Lui Division B Director 24-25, Carole Murphy, Area Director 24-25, Mark Hurrell, D21 Club Growth Director 25-26, Tom Jones, Past International Director and James Falcon.  Joining us onstage are Sondra Nunez, DTM, Past International Director, Rose Kirland, DTM Past Region Advisor and our new Region Advisor,  Dovile Kurpyte-Lipnicke, DTM.

Another announcement at the International Conference is that next year's conference will be held at the Vancouver Convention Center, British Columbia, August 19 - 22 and Past International Director Tom Jones, DTM and Past District Director Carole Murphy, DTM have been named the co-hosts of the Convention!!

So exciting that the new District 21 will have a chance to celebrate its first year as the host of Toastmasters from all over the world!!!
