"Inspire to Lead, Lead to Inspire"

On Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Douglas College, New Westminster Campus, District 21 Toastmasters gathered together in-person to celebrate the theme of “Inspire to Lead, Lead to Inspire”. Attendees enjoyed a fantastic keynote speech by Tom Jones, DTM-PID-MAOM-MPA-CMN titled “The Leadership Vacuum: Why You Matter Now”.  Next our attendees enjoyed an engaging Leadership Panel Discussion where we got to ask some of our most esteemed leaders in the District to share candid experiences about their journey around leadership, mentorship and professional and personal development through a live poll discussion. Finally, we rounded out the afternoon with Round 1 Club Officer Training sharing best practices in carrying out Club Officer roles, insights and how to work together towards completing Club Success Plans and towards Distinguished club status.
